Affirmations

I've recently been led to a blog by an old colleague of mine and I must say, he makes mine look like the ramblings of an illiterate fool!  His is so inspirational and intellectual and it contains a couple wonderful pieces giving affirmation of the true self. 

Here is one of the ones that I really liked:

As I sit clearly understanding the portals of my mind.
I realize that I hold the power to succeed beyond anything I can imagine.
I prepare myself for this success, by accepting my talents, my assets and my faults.
And as I focus on my talents and my desires, the little inconsequential things fall away.
I know my true power, because I am not basing it on externalities. I draw this power from within.
I am a conqueror, a survivor, a soldier, a dreamer and a lover.
I am all things that I can be.
I accept the infinite nature and potential of my universe.
Anything I desire is mine.
I dont need you to love me; I choose to love you.

I am gonna be reading his stuff and really pondering of some of it.. as I can see where it may lead to me developing a better image of myself and truly living out my potential.
